Should Women be Pastors or Bishops?
Was there ever a female bishop? In 1918, Alma Bridwell White, head of the Pillar of Fire Church, became the first woman-ordained bishop in the United States. Today, over half of all American Protestant denominations ordain women, but some restrict the official positions a woman can hold. wikipedia.org/wiki/
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek; there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye is all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26-28)
How many churches today would be closed if women were not elders, pastors, or Bishops or if most women left the church?
Every Jewish follower of the Law in the ancient world knew this one thing: you don't work on the Sabbath. No excuses. Nobody in Israel dared work on God's Sabbath. Yet Jesus did Jesus heal on the Sabbath day.
Jesus Heals on the Sabbath Mark 3:1- 6 - NLV 3 Jesus went into the synagogue again and noticed a man with a deformed hand. 2 Since it was the Sabbath, Jesus' enemies watched him closely. They planned to accuse him of working on the Sabbath if he healed the man's hand. 3 Jesus said to the man with the deformed hand, "Come and stand in front of everyone." 4 Then he turned to his critics and asked, "Does the Law permit good deeds on the Sabbath, or is it a day for doing evil? Is this a day to save life or to destroy it?" But they wouldn't answer him. 5 He looked around at them angrily and was deeply saddened by their hard hearts. Then he said to the man, "Hold out your hand." So, the man held out his hand, and it was restored! 6 At once, the Pharisees went away and met with the supporters of Herod to plot how to kill Jesus.
Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath. Jesus was not impressed with the Pharisees' great intelligence and pride.
Jesus performed seven miraculous healings on the Sabbath.
7 is the number of God's perfect completion

Why do modern-day Pharisees try to use the Scriptures against Jesus even today? Why do men think they can put God in a box? If God calls a male or female person to be a pastor, elder, or bishop, how dare we question God? Is it not Jesus who has the final Word, being HE IS THE WORD?
Mark 16:9 says that Jesus first appeared to Mary Magdalen. I submit that one of the first ordained woman pastors was Mary Magdalen.
Mary's first sermon was He Is Risen Her Scripture was John 20:17.
Weren't women who stood by Jesus, not caring if people knew they were followers of Jesus and followed him to Calvary, while men denied knowing Jesus and fled or just stayed in the background trying to be unnoticed?
Women are necessary and should have every right to pursue their callings. They should not be limited by man vs. God's will for them. God is the ultimate authority.
The Word of God is not flawed, but some men's reasoning, understanding, politics, and application of the Word are very much impaired.
Remember, some Christians used the Bible to justify slavery. And even today, worldwide religions are used to make a woman submissive to men and to "stay in their place" For example, a new announcement this week means that in Afghanistan, girls and women will only have access to education until sixth grade.

Women's history is full of trailblazers in the fight for equality in the United States. Abigail Adams implored her husband to "remember the ladies" when envisioning a government for the American colonies to suffragists like Susan B. Anthon. Elizabeth Cady Stanton fought for women's right to vote to the rise of feminism, and Hillary Clinton became the first female nominee for president by a major political party; American women have long fought for equal footing throughout the nation's history.
Man, even had laws that prevented women and blacks from the right to vote. And yet, in the 20th century, women still had to fight for full religious freedoms and equal pay in sports and job careers.
All because man wants to rule the world. God, please change the heart of the modern-day Pharisees.
